Amy's Meatless Fast Food to Open in July - UPDATE
Breaking news: In what may be the beginning of a nationwide trend, another all-veg fast food joint is set to open up in July: Amy’s Drive Thru. The restaurant, a venture of the frozen food favorite Amy’s Kitchen, will be all meatless, and all offerings can be ordered vegan or gluten-free. The menu will feature healthier spins on junk food favorites like mac and cheese, burritos, pizza, burgers, and vegan and non-vegan shakes. The restaurant, which is located in Rohnert Park, California, is on a mission to “shake up American fast food” through its commitment to veg options, allergy consciousness, non-GMOs, and organic foods. So if you live near the bay, veg-friendly, affordable goodies will be coming your way soon. The rest of us can only salivate from afar and hope that they expand to multiple locations soon.
