The Dr. Oz Show to Feature 'The Beginner's Guide to Going Vegan'
We recently wrote about how Dr. Mehmet Oz of The Dr. Oz Show presented his plant-based “21 Day Weight Loss Breakthrough” program on The Wendy Williams Show. This week, veganism will be featured on The Dr. Oz Show with the segment ‘The Beginner’s Guide to Going Vegan (Without Going Crazy).’
The episode will feature registered dietician and nutritionist Maya Feller and vegan cookbook author Terry Hope Romero, who co-authored the (vegan) household staple Veganomicon. The description on the Dr. Oz website states:
“We’re busting the biggest vegan myths with our beginner’s guide. Learn how to make cupcakes, mac and cheese, bacon, pancakes, even tacos.”
The preview for the episode opens with Dr. Oz announcing: “If you think vegan is just salad, think again,” and ends with him stating, “these are so good, you won’t even know they are vegan.” You can watch the preview here and tune in for the episode on Thursday January 26!
