BurgerFi Adds The Beyond Burger to Menu
According to Beyond Meat’s blog, on July 3 the Beyond Burger (check out our review here) is making its debut at eight select BurgerFi locations, making BurgerFi “the FIRST national burger-chain in the country to offer The Beyond Burger.”
While BurgerFi does currently offer a VegeFi option, which is a crispy quinoa and pure-cut veggie patty, adding the Beyond Burger was a “response to the growing mainstream demand for plant-based protein.” According to the post:
“BurgerFi will offer The Beyond Burger in two ways: a more traditional style burger with onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, or a vegan green style either wrapped in lettuce or served on a vegan bun.”
The eight locations are in Florida, California, New York and Pennsylvania, and the post promises that by “Summer’s end, it will expand to all 101 locations nationwide.”
