Ne-Yo Goes Vegan
In November of last year, multi-platinum singer, songwriter, record-producer and actor Ne-Yo told Coach Mag:
“Much love and respect to anybody living that vegan life, because it is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I went vegan for a month and a half, and I love the way I looked, but it was just so hard. I might have been a T-Rex in my previous life because I’m a carnivore, I truly am.”
Well, after watching documentary What the Health, things have changed for the singer. On August 6, Ne-Yo took to Facebook to post a video, captioned “Watches #WhatTheHealth once…”, in which he states:
“All right, ladies and gentlemen, thanks to the What the Health documentary, I’ve officially gon’ be vegan, completely vegan, so I need ya’ll to send me some vegan recipes and stuff that I can actually eat cause I’m in a supermarket…lost.”
He adds that he is looking for restaurant recommendations in Atlanta because he “ain’t messin’ with that meat no more,” and that it’s “killin’ us, ya’ll.”
