Alicia Silverstone Launches Vegan Gummy Vitamin Line
Actress, vegan and animal rights activist Alicia Silverstone has teamed up with nutrition brand Garden of Life to launch a new vegan vitamin line.
According to Drug Store News, the mykind Organics Gummy vitamins range is “Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified and made from organic fruit and whole-food vitamins,” as well as certified vegan, certified gluten-free, cruelty-free and kosher. Silverstone stated of the partnership:
“I am so proud to team up with Garden of Life to introduce our new gummy vitamins — the purest, cleanest gummies out there, made from the real, organic, non-GMO whole foods my family eats. These yummy gummies provide the essential nutrients you need, without all of the ‘icky stuff’ you don’t want in your vitamins.”
Garden of Life’s website adds that the formulas “include extracts and powders from over 30 organic fruits, veggies and herbs such as organic kale, organic sea kelp, organic broccoli, organic parsley, organic ginger, organic amla berry and Holy Basil.”
