2018 Oscars Gift Bag to Feature Color-Changing Vegan Lipstick
Nominees of this year’s Oscars will receive startup Blush & Whimsy‘s vegan Magical Color Changing Lipstick as part of their gift bag.
According to POPSUGAR, last year’s Oscars gift bag totaled up to $100,000, making the $22 lipstick a more affordable inclusion.
The New Mexico-based startup, which works with a non-profit to employ people with Downs Syndrome, ALS, as well as disabled veterans and the elderly, has three color changing lipstick options that change color “based on your body’s unique pH and temperature of your skin.”
The ingredients include real flowers, cocoa butter, olive oil, grape seed oil and are vegan and cruelty-free, with the company promising that it “tests products on humans only!”
The lipsticks were also a part of the Grammy Awards gift bag this year.
