Leilani Münter Treats Fans to Vegan Impossible Burger in #VeganStrong Tent
Everyone’s favorite “vegan hippie chick with a racecar” Leilani Münter treated NASCAR fans at the Chicagoland Speedway races last weekend to free Impossible Burgers!
Münter posted on Instagram:
“Hi Chicagoland Speedway race fans! Come to the #VeganStrong tent to try a free 🍔 @impossible_foods burger served up by @chefjasonstefanko! Also meet professional vegan bodybuilders @ryannelsonfitness and @korinsutton! The tent is open today from 3-8pm, Saturday 10am-2:30pm and Sunday 8am-1:30pm. I will be at the tent today from 4-8pm, Saturday 11-2:30, and Sunday 10-1:30. Hope to see you there!”
While the Impossible Burger itself is vegan, it is often served in restaurants with cheese or a non-vegan bun. Not the case in the #VeganStrong tent! Münter thanked both Miyoko’s Kitchen and Follow Your Heart for their dairy-free contributions, and added:
“We have shown tens of thousands of people that vegan food is not only good for you but delicious!”
Last year, Münter drove the first vegan-powered racecar during the ARCA race in Daytona, Florida. She has also been in the headlines for receiving an indefinite ban from Sea World for a symbolic gesture.
