Bryan Adams: “Animals are my friends and I don’t eat my friends”
Canadian singer/songwriter Bryan Adams was recently interviewed by The Tribune about his upcoming tour in India.
Adams was almost immediately asked about his plant-based lifestyle, as the musician has been vegan since 1989. He stated:
“It’s just my way of life. I know it worked for me. It’s all about having the knowledge on a healthier way of living.”
He added:
“Eating animals is disgusting and dangerous for long-term good health. Animals are my friends and I don’t eat my friends.”
Earlier this year, the “Summer of ’69” singer promoted the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle to his 422K followers on Instagram, writing:
“Getting off ALL animal products and sugar was the best thing I ever did for myself. Buying fresh food is expensive, but so is the cost of dodgy health. I cured myself of all kinds of aliments purely by changing my diet. Go Vegan, you will never regret it.”
Adams is set to tour until October 14, visiting five cities in India.
