Impossible Burger to Debut in Grocery Stores Next Year
Impossible Foods’ Impossible Burger has been a popular choice in restaurants—and even on airplanes—for some time.
And now, there is some great news for those who have been eagerly waiting to buy and cook the patties themselves.
Yesterday, Impossible Foods’ CEO and Founder Patrick Brown announced in a statement that the plant-based burgers are set to be available in grocery stores in 2019.
Brown Stated:
“By far the No. 1 message from fans on social media is, ‘When will I be able to buy and cook the Impossible Burger at home?’ We can’t wait until home chefs experience the magic and delight of the first plant-based meat that actually cooks and tastes like meat from animals—without any compromise.”
While the company added that it is “not providing additional details of its retail launch at this time,” as Fortune noted last year:
“Impossible Foods is making its coveted burger a little bit less impossible to find.”
