Evanna Lynch & Daniella Monet Launch Cruelty-Free Beauty Subscription Box
UPDATE: This past summer, actress and Dancing With the Stars participant Evanna Lynch announced she would be launching a cruelty-free beauty subscription box later on in the year.
That time has finally come! Kinder Beauty Box, founded by both Lynch and actress Daniella Monet, has officially launched. Lynch posted the news on Instagram:
“Wooo happy launch day to mine and @daniellamonet’s new project aka @kinderbeautybox! 💄😍 I am very excited to share that our cruelty free + vegan beauty subscription box project has been born, and our mission to spread more awareness about animal testing and to highlight cruelty free brands has begun!”
She added:
Daniella and I are both passionate animal rights advocates and ethically minded vegans, so animal rights come first in anything we put our names to. We are also classy + sassy ladies who like to look good and we don’t believe animal abuse and exploitation should be tolerated in the beauty industry. That said, figuring out which products are vegan AND cruelty free can be such an epic mission and seems like an awful lot of studious research to put into tracking down a decent highlighter 🤨📖 So we are here to do that work for you and help you learn about and try cruelty free and vegan beauty products every month so that you won’t have to worry about using anything that has been tested on animals 👍🏻”
There are three different plans available, with the first box shipping in January. In terms of what you can expect to find in the vegan and cruelty-free boxes, the website states:
“Our Kinder Beauty Box will contain at least three full-sized beauty products and a number of sample-sized items, compassionately curated by Daniella Monet and Evanna Lynch. All Kinder Beauty Box products are guaranteed to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free.”
A portion of all sales will also go towards the duo’s “favorite animal rights and environmental causes.”

July 8, 2021: Evanna Lynch of Harry Potter fame and podcast The ChickPeeps, has announced plans to launch a cruelty-free beauty box.
Lynch made the announcement via an Instagram story, writing:
“Launching a cruelty-free beauty box later in the year and would love your input!! Basically, as most of you know by now, I am very passionate about animals and I also love makeup, and I do not believe that the two should intersect. I don’t think that you should need to use animals for makeup. However, that is the way the industry is at the moment so that is something we’re trying to change.”
The star promised to release more details later on in the summer, but the subscription box will include both beauty and fashion items, with a percentage of the proceeds going towards one of Lynch’s favorite charities.
